Account Manager (40 hours)

Do you have a background in sales & food technology, applications or functional ingredients with a strong commercial drive and do you want to work in a dynamic, international environment where sustainability is in our DNA?
As an Account Manager you are part of the commercial team and expand our business with new applications. You work closely together with our Agro & Purchase department and Product Development department providing technological and application-oriented support to customers.
  • You visit (new) customers based on trends, market demands and give support to other (key) account managers on new applications.
  • You will be responsible for managing new & existing accounts but will also focus on expansion and target new customers based on new business developments.
  • You organise workshops for our customers and you are responsible for the set-up of communications about new applications. 
  • You work closely together with product development to initiate and coordinate test phases and application research and write content for new applications.
What do you bring with you?
  • A Bachelor’s/Master degree on food technology and a strong commercial drive and/or proven experience in a commercial role within the food industry preferably in the ingredients market.
  • Experience in the fruits and vegetable cultivation industry is a plus.
  • Strong & proven commercial and customer orientation skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management & functional ingredients.
  • Fluent in English language, verbal and written and the ability to travel.
