Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Specialist

You will become part of the M&S team and report to the Scientific & RA Manager and work closely with the sales and technical sales department, innovation, corporate communication, market intelligence and others.  
Job description
  • Give support to the marketing & sales teams globally by scientific substantiation of the health benefits of Sensus inulin (and possible new products) Visit customers and give presentations both internally and externally (seminars, conferences).
  • Write nutritional content.
  • Supporting and coordinating clinical trials and follow up on actions for Sensus products.
  • Nutrition science and health documentation development and updates for food manufacturing customers.
  • Reviewing (new) food regulations and providing advice to Sensus departments, business partners and customers.
  • Attending, presenting and reporting on research projects meetings and relevant conferences.
An academic degree (BSc or MSc) in the area of nutrition science, health or dietetics is required. Experience in the food and health industry for at least  2-3 years is required. The candidate will have a strong interest in food regulatory affairs concerning nutrition and health aspects.
Personal characteristics of the candidate would be analytically strong, results orientated, accurate, good presentation skills, and a team player. Good English writing and speaking is required, as well as a basic knowledge of Dutch, and willingness to travel.
