Cosun is a Dutch agro-industrial cooperative. The Cosun businesses – Sensus, Aviko, Cosun Beet
Company, SVZ and Duynie – produce food ingredients and products that make their way to the food
industry, foodservice sector and retail channels.

Sensus manufactures and supplies the innovative ingredients inulin and oligofructose naturally present
in chicory roots. Our chicory root fibers are broadly applied in the food and nutraceutical industry for
fiber enrichment, sugar or fat replacement or texturing properties. Moreover, they are proven to have
beneficial properties for human health, and widely used in healthy food products. We have a dedicated
team that works closely with customers and business partners, providing effective support in developing
and marketing food products to contribute to healthier lives.

For our head office in Roosendaal we are looking for a Sales Manager.

In this position you will report to the Manager Sales EMEA & LATAM and will be part of the Marketing &
Sales team.
Your main purpose is realizing the sales targets and enjoy explaining the benefits and features of the
Sensus Frutafit® and Frutalose @ product portfolio to existing and potential customers. Would you like

Job description
• You are responsible for drawing up and achieving yearly sales and (key) account plans for the
assigned customers and / or distributors in Europe or other specific regions.
• You are able to negotiate annual agreements (prices and conditions), issue quotations and
conclude contracts within established frameworks and investigate possibilities for new sales.
• You are responsible for the correct coordination of contractual agreements with the associated
sales figures, forecasting and customer management
• You are closely involved with our Customer Service & Logistic department providing excellent
service and deliveries of our products assuring customer satisfaction
• You ensure the development and maintenance of relationships with international customers,
distributors engaging with multiple stakeholders in order to positively influence the sales
process and to analyze customer needs
• You provide versatile (marketing, technological and nutritional content) information; possibly
supported by product management, technical sales and scientific support.
• You keep track of developments in the market, follow trends and provide input for the European
sales and marketing strategy
• You follow initiated projects closely with customers, maintain CRM system, project pipeline and
convert identified new opportunities into concrete business
• You frequently visit customers, attend trade shows, seminars and other networking

An HBO/Academic level, Food Technology, Health Sciences or comparable. At least 5 years of relevant
work experience, in a "B to B" environment, preferably in the food industry. The candidate will have upto-
date knowledge of the European food and specialty ingredients market. As a professional you arecustomer, result orientated and have a great ability to work in a team. The candidate will have a strong
interest in nutrition and health aspects and has an international oriented personality with good
communication and excellent presentation skills. Excellent English writing and speaking is required and
willingness to travel.
